It almost seems that with Sigma 6, 25th, and the Joe movie, 12 inch fans are a dying breed. Anyone else agree?

yes

1/6 is good for one figure, but setups and dios and vehicles,
blah
its not good cuz the vehicles are horribly underscaled,

1/18 the best compramise

Yeah, with 1/6 figures, there are limits. But I did some customs a few years back,

I am a 1/6th scale fan/collector/customizer. I like the scale because most of my figures just sit on a shelf and don't see any playtime. I would not say 12" fans are a dying breed, I think when the new 12" sideshow Joes and the new 12" hasbro figures are released interest will pick back up. And there is always the 12: military figures like bbi, dragon, and hot toys that have a huge fanbase. My 12" customs can be seen here

and slim19722 I really like your 12" figures, the Joe vs. Cobra Storm Shadow is my favorite.

I used to collect (And still do pick up an occasional AT or 12" JvC fig) and I'm still a fan.

I guess that's why I never understood the whole Sigma 6 thing. They were just scaled down 12" Joes. Same articulation, cloth clothes, etc.

Still, they're not as cool as 3.75" Joes. But then again, nothing is :)

I collect en kit bash 1/6 figures.
The scale and gear available makes creating unique characters really easy.
I don't think we're a dying breed. A lot of smaller companies and online store tend to our needs.
