Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers)

Carol Danvers is well-known now as Captain Marvel, headlining a 2019 film that grossed over $1.1 billion. But before she was Captain Marvel, she spent over 30 years as Ms. Marvel, sporting a very different look to her modern one. This figure does not represent her original costume, but the best-known costume worn by Carol Danvers before ditching the Ms. Marvel name to become Captain Marvel, in an outfit as depicted in the MCU. This custom is a simple repaint – extending the gloves to the upper arms, sharpening the lines of some of the paint apps, and applying some varnish to the boots and gloves to match the texture of the paint apps on the torso.

Marvel Superhero

This custom resulted from the unused parts left over from a custom Mockingbird, which replace the Invisible Woman’s head (but not hair) with Ms. Marvel. So this custom is the complement to that – the head from Invisible Woman, and everything else from Ms. Marvel. Searching for a character to use these parts with, the sash suggested Psylocke in her classic 90s look. A full paint job and an added sword complete the figure.

Hair: Marvel Legends Retro 3-3/4” Ms. Marvel
Head: Marvel Legends Retro 3-3/4” Invisible Woman
All other parts: Marvel Legends Retro 3-3/4” Ms. Marvel

Sash: Marvel Legends Retro 3-3/4” Ms. Marvel (modified)
Sword: Spin Master DC Deathstroke

And that's it for 2022!

Love what you've done with Psyloche's hair. The black highlights make it pretty cool!
