As established, I love the Transformers vs G.I. Joe comic. Just chock full of great takes on characters I thought were stuck in a certain portrayal forever. Going by the notes at the back of the issue, Scioli originally intended to use Ninja Force in this role, but for whatever reason, went with G.I. Jonin instead. They're intended as a replacement for the Joe team, picked by the Jugglers because they don't have those pesky scruples that are always getting in the way.

Image

They only appear in a few panels, but I like the look of them. Plus, I could totally see the Jugglers hiring on some former Arashikage as bodyguards and dirty tricks men after Storm Shadow broke into their chambers at the Pentagon.

Even better, they let me use up some fodder that I really don't have a use for otherwise.

Head, Arms, Lower Legs, and Belts: 25th Storm Shadow.
Rest: 25th Flash

Fun group of customs, but the icing is finding that obscure reference and capitalizing it. Kudos to you!

You got me hooked on this series with your previous customs. I'm waiting for the second trade paperback to come out, and this is a wonderful little preview.

Just a neat use of otherwise barely usable parts. They are sooo recognizable for Flash/Grand Slam and Storm shadow that they make it really hard to use for anything else. But this is a fun combo.

Looking again, these might be a great way to use up all those DG Shipwreck knee pads.
