 Post subject: Royal Guard (Every Joe #265)

Love them or hate them, the Cobra La characters from 1987 were unique.

Here's the Royal Guard, the army builders of the society. I pushed the overall design towards sinewy and tall, but otherwise left the aesthetic intact.

This one is a favorite for sure. The posture and spindliness of the body work great for what should be a creepy character.

I'm not a fan of the concept of Cobra La, but I appreciated that the 25A gave a much better rendition of Nemesis Enforcer/Immortal than ARAH provided. It's a shame they didn't give the same treatment to the Royal Guard.
