I use Ouiksteel straight out the tube. I cut what I need with a paint knife and knead it together in my palm or between my fingers. I always prepare the surface area it goes on with a quick bit of sanding so it will bond to it better. If it doesn't bond well to the surface for some reason, I just glue the piece in place with super glue.
