Thunder and the Slugger were some of my very first Joes that I got as a kid and have remained amongst my favorites. It seems like I have always had a Slugger in my collection. A few years ago, before we got the RoC version, I tried my hand at making my own Thunder to fill that hole in my collection. Unfortunately, I was just getting started with customizing and I still needed to learn a few things. After that, the RoC version came along and I replaced my crappy custom with that. Now, I wanted to make a more definitive version. I borrowed a pretty common recipe and changed some details. Credit goes to the original creator.
