SAFARI is a big game hunter that Gnawgahyde came across in Africa. Gnawgahyde was poaching elephants and Safari was hired by the game preserve to hunt Gnawgahyde. Safari had Gnawgahyde lined up in his sights for the kill but did not shoot. Safari approached Gnawgahyde and tried to explain the error of his ways and redeem himself... unfortunately Gnawgahyde convinced Safari to join the Dreadnoks and they have worked as a hunting team since, finding animals for Dr. Mindbenders venom experiments.
