I made Cardboard Beachhead after a member on another forum challenged me to make one. With the positive response I am getting on this figure/statue, he may not be the last!

Construction consisted of four rolled-up pieces of cardboard for the arms and legs, a larger rolled piece for the upper torso, a small v-cut folded piece for the hips, and smaller v-cut pieces for the hands and feet. A few scraps were added for boot cuffs and a small hooked cardboard piece was added for the neck.

As this was the first cardboard figure I've made, I note the following:
- elongate the legs and arms, and improve the proportions
- add more muscle definition
- add articulation, possibly with Lego parts
