The OG Joes will always have a special place in my heart. They were immensely important to me as a child and started my life-long love of G.I.Joe. I love all of the figures that first year, but I certainly have a couple favorites. Flash is and always will be my favorite of the OG13, but Short Fuze is pretty high in the list. Although he is fairly bland, there is just something that elevates him above some of the others. For instance...Short Fuze has the cool head. My favorite 1982 Joes all use that head; Flash, Short Fuze, Hawk, and Steeler. He also comes with the clear visor. The Joes that have the cool head also all have the visor...with Steeler having the unique visor.
Short Fuze also has the shoulder rig, which I have always liked. Lastly, he has the silver pockets. I fell in love with the silver accents when I was a kid. I assume Larry Hama and Herb Trimpe gave Short Fuze glasses in the comic book to give him some uniqueness, to make him stand out from all that flat green, but I've never been fully onboard with that design (although I gave my custom glasses as that seems to be the default depiction nowadays). I gave my custom a LAW rocket system as I just think using mortars in today's world is anachronistic and stupid.
All in all, a great figure and one that I love.
