Kamakura was doing a little light recon around the Terror Drome when he was fell upon by a group of 5 Red Ninjas and Storm Shadow. The battle was fierce and fast paced. All 5 of the Red Ninjas were eliminated leaving only Storm Shadow. The pair dueled until GI Joe reinforcements arrived in the form of Snake Eyes and Lifeline. As Storm Shadow fled the scene, he turned and fired a single arrow at Kamakura striking him in the upper chest. Snake Eyes pursued, but lost sight of Storm Shadow and returned to help Kamakura as he heard the alarms sounding at the Terror Drome. With Lifeline's expertise, Kamakura was able to pull through, but it was many months before he could return to active duty.

This involved only painting, making a few slashes with an exacto, and drilling some holes.
