Ever since the SKO concept had been initially introduced, I always had my eye on the line. When it didn't get released, I knew that there were certain figures that I wanted to make as customs. So when Pluv allowed them in the GP, I just had to dedicate some slots. After reviewing the line-up again, I decided on the three characters that I really wanted to make. Part of the reason I liked the Fracture character was that he resembled the Battle Armor Cobra Commander. I had to review the initial design concept several times to get an idea of the parts to use. I enjoy how it came out.

For this custom, I actually hollowed out the chrome head a bit too much. I ended up correcting that to keep the head from wobbling all over the place. I purposefully wanted to have the chrome faceplate just like the SKO concept art I saw. That was why I chose the Retaliation However, I wanted to tone down the luster on the rest of the body armor. Instead of using silver which would have been too light, I decided to go with Vallejo Oily Steel. It has a dark shine to it and was definitely the right way to go.
