It is one thing to be the the best of the best. Outback is not only part of that select group, he's responsible for making sure they can handle anything they encounter wherever the battlefront takes them. Besides being a part time instructor at the Jungle Warfare Training Center, he's trained pilots on escape and evade tactics, participated in NATO Harsh Environment Exercises, and served in parts of the world that very few live to tell about.

Excerpt from Ultra Top Secret file: Operation Winchell
Stalker, US Army Special Forces, led an undercover team in Borovia to recover journalist Devlin Winchell. Agents Snow Job and Quick Kick were injured during the escape. Facing capture, Stalker ordered Outback to return and report. Quick Kick reported that the only thing that kept them going in the gulag was knowing Outback would find a way back and report about what really went down.

I wanted to approach this project as if Hasbro really made this figure in 1984. That meant minimal paint applications instead of a straight repaint of the iconic version 1 on the 83 body. The shirt uses the GIJCC version's coloring while the pants are based on the Night Force version. Because we couldn't do any modifications, the flashlight was added to his weapon instead. The CG rifle was used because it was one of the few rifles the figure could hold easily and look natural doing it. The Cobra Night Watch soldier in the jungle scene uses the modified Gung Ho rifle that was my second option.
